Semaphore Sedge 1

We were walking in the bushland of Kings Park recently and noticed that the Semaphore Sedge (Mesomelaena pseudostygia) is currently in flower. This native plant grows along the west coast of Western Australia from around Kalbarri to Rockingham, mainly in sandy areas. It flowers from April to June.
