Another white flowering gum tree that you can see in Perth at present is the Tuart (Eucalyptus gomphocephala).

Tuart 4

Like the Marri tree in the previous entry, the Tuart grows to around 40m in height and is native to the southwest of Western Australia, from about Geraldton to Busselton. It has icecream shaped flower buds and flowers from January to April.
